Hello

My name is Nicholas Kemper and I have been DJing for over 11 years. Ranging from MCing wedding ceremonies and receptions, hosting trivia nights, DJing school dances, officiating weddings, and announcing sports events, I like to view myself as a professional individual who wants to make sure your event is as awesome as you envision it.
My Story
Educator, coach, and adviser by day. DJ by night.
When consulting with couples, many are shocked when they learn I educate the youth. It is not everyday that a teacher is also a DJ. But I often find these two professions effectively build off each other. Music is a wonderful tool to develop reflection and introspection; skills the youth greatly benefit from. Music is a very powerful tool.
DJing started with a passion for music. When asked what my favorite genre of music is, the response often involves me reflecting on my current state of mind and what genre I most identify with at that moment. Ranging from classic rock to reggae, I can get down to every tune.
This passion for music transpired to DJing for the middle school I teach at. I became the DJ for our school dances. Then one day, I was asked if I could DJ a wedding. This then brought me to a service I have become quite fond of.
You see, with the power of music and its relation to emotion, what better day to support the range of emotions with music than wedding days? I continually get elated with excitement when looking at song titles and their correlation to the events that occur during weddings. Music is one of the greatest supports to a memorable, exciting, and emotional wedding. And I am honored to be one to build that rhythm for that vision.
At Weekend Beer Company in Grants Pass, Oregon, I am their host and DJ for "Beat the Brewers" trivia nights, "Hot Weekend Nights" Prom, and "Music Bingo". DJing for school dances, non-profit organizations, class reunions, and private parties has blessed me the opportunity to provide the upbeat atmosphere for so many special occasions.
